Move slow. Take a breath with this existence, this life, this human body that we possess. Move slower. Take a breath with this moment, these words, this current feeling: uncomfortable, mundane, or ineffable. Lean in all the way and take another breath, slower. Find yourself in the space between space. Sit here... Listen.
In slowness, there is infinite truth. For slowness is the key that unlocks the mysteries of the self: emotional, spiritual, sexual, and so on. In slowness we see. In slowness we understand.
There are no rules to this, no religion. Instead, slowness is meant to be explored, a unique process to be stumbled upon.
Inspired by my own journey with stillness, this collection is a representation of the process of slowing down, connecting deeply, and allowing the quiet voices within to be heard. My sacred dance with “slow” has not only unveiled the pain that I’ve silenced for ages but it has freed what’s been there all along, truth and unshakable love.
As my capacity for connection deepens within, my external world mirrors this with profound meaning, relationships, and moments... Like savoring a rainy climbing day with friends because all that matters is that you’re together amongst the trees and creepy crawlies.
As for the snails, I had the opportunity to connect with these masters of slowness while working on a farm in Big Sur. Little did I know they would become a huge part of this entire project and now brand.
